Drumming sports day! A team building day with a difference…

Do you run/work for a company that would benefit from a fun, if slightly chaotic, drumming session? Then read on…

Two or three teams, a load of percussion. One overly enthusiastic host/teacher. 10 challenges. A lot of cheesy songs. Possibly quite a bit of rivalry!

Paul Richards combines his skills developed as an acclaimed drum/percussion teacher alongside his award-winning theatre background to present a lively, but still (kind of...) educational team building experience. Effectively a game show with drums, you and your colleagues will learn basic rhythms and exercises covering as many genres of music as possible, before competing against each other in a series of fun, creative rhythmical challenges.

It's a battle of concentration, timing, trust and, for a tiny bit of it, a test of your pop music knowledge. If drumming was a sport (which, Paul argues, it should be...) this would be the sports day.

No previous drumming experience necessary, all equipment provided on the day - just provide a room where we can be nice and loud (the set up is one full drum kit for the ‘centre piece’ challenges and approximately 20 pieces of smaller percussion) and Paul can take it from there.

The session length is tailored around your needs - it’s usually an hour and a bit but allow longer if we’re enjoying ourselves, which we will.

The session costs £200  (lasts around 70 minutes) for up to 20 participants. Longer sessions for more people available, price negotiable!

ALSO AVAILABLE FOR PRIVATE PARTIES/BIRTHDAYS/RANDOM SOCIALS…after all, it’s effectively a musical gameshow, it’s perfect for most occasions. Just book a room where we can make enough noise and we’ll do just that. See below for more details!

PRIVATE PARTIES:

Fancy a party with a difference? Have a drumming gameshow!

Whether it's a birthday party, big family gathering or just a chance to catch up with friends, this fun, incredibly noisy, gameshow is a riotously fun way to spend an evening. Two or three teams, 10 challenges, and lots of healthy rivalry! Perfect for those who have never drummed before (or if you have, Paul may make it a bit trickier for you...), friendly, energetic, good-natured fun for all ages.

You provide the space, let's be honest - probably not suited to a family home (unless you have particularly tolerant neighbours...), Paul will bring a small drum kit and a great old mix of percussion.

The cost? Negotiable depending on location and amount of people taking part.
